by: Oris Chimenya, 11/4/2004, 10:51:40 AM

Bakili Bullets vice treasurer Kondi Msungama has said he now intends to become a players scout, a move he says will assist local players clinch contracts with international clubs.
Msungama has also said the move has made him to decide not to stand for an executive post again when the club holds its annual general meeting (AGM) on November 21, 2004 in Blantyre.
“I have decided to venture into scouting because I have seen that there is a lot of talent in the country which needs to be exposed out there.
“I will be leaving with the boys [Fischer Kondowe, Swadick Sanudi and Robert Ng’ambi] on November 21 to go Nigeria to discuss their contracts with Enyimba. In the meantime, I am just a coordinator for the players, but I have applied here in Malawi to become a professional players’ scout and manager,” he said, adding that he will soon be applying to Fifa for the licence.
The decision to move from club administration to player scout comes barely one week after his return from Lusaka, Zambia where he went to process travelling documents at the Nigerian embassy for the three players.
Enyimba got interested in the players Bullets played the Nigerian club Caf Champions League matches.
