Bullets champs again
My Congratulations to Bakili Bullets for notching their first win in the Caf Champions League group stages. It could not be for any team to wake up from a devastating defeat like the 6-0 loss to Enyimba of Nigeria and win the next game.
In the same vein, I would like to salute Algeria’s El Sahel for stopping the heartless Enyimba in their tracks. ‘Enyemba’ had been demonstrating inhuman behaviour by distributing half dozens and quarter dozens to teams like BB and Africa Sports and I am happy they have been finally brought to their knees.
I am just waiting for the big day when the Nigerians will come here to pay for the sins they committed in Abu. That time we will not only camp in Mulanje but involve the Chambe man, who is claiming to have a cure for Aids. If he can cure Aids, what can stop him from helping BB beat Enyimba 8-0?
On that particular day, I will emulate Acheya’s example by pledging to give each of the BB players K200, 000 each. Don’t ask me where I will get the money— Acheya amazitenga kuti?(Where does Muluzi get it?)
Coming to this week’s prediction, I would like to congratulate the Bullets in advance for winning the Super League title for a record seventh time. The Bullets will today shoot Dwasco at Chitowe before ‘enyimbering’ Civo tomorrow.
The two wins will take them to 58 points which is beyond the reach of the rest of the teams in the 15-team league. Let me conclude by posing a question to the other teams in the league especially MTL Wanderers, Silver Strikers and MDC United:
How can you allow one team monopolise the title for an unprecedented seven times. Are you really giants or mere passengers? I propose BB should be declared honorary champions and the other teams should be competing for the second place and the positions below.
