Yobe not part of BB

Bakili Bullets said on Thursday that their winger McDonald Yobe who had a stint with Canadian club Ottawa Wizards recently, has said he will not be part of the team this season because of other personal commitments.
Club chair Hassam Jussab confirmed the development on Thursday saying Yobe was planning to go to Europe.
“He is definitely out of our plans for this season because what he told me was that he is going to the United Kingdom for further studies,” said Jussab.
The player himself confirmed in a separate interview last week that he will indeed not be available for local football this season. He has since left for the UK.
Meanwhile seasoned goalkeeper Navigator Dzinkambani, who was off-loaded recently alongside seven other players by the Bullets, said on Thursday that he has not received any communication from the club regarding his expulsion.
“I just heard it from the radio and I also read in the press that I have been laid off because I have not been reporting for training of late since nursing a knee injury.
“It would therefore be very difficult for me to comment in absence of written communication from the club,” said Dzinkambani.
