| Chikwakwa German bound | |

| Malawi’s star woman athlete Catherine Chikwakwa has been offered three-month trials in Germany under the sponsorship of authorised athletes representative Dorothee Paulamann. According to a press release from the Athletics Association of Malawi (AAM), Chikwakwa will upon successful trials be based in Germany for athletics training and will also have a chance for academic training. During trial period, Chikwakwa who has won several local honours, will take part in several road races in the Schengen area which will be for 10km, 5km and 13km. “This is very good news for Catherine and I am very proud of her,” said AAM’s president Dunstain Mwaungulu. |
