| North to hold netball bonanza in Karonga |

The Northern Region Netball Committee has organized a two-day netball bonanza to be held in Karonga during the weekend of November 13/14 the committee’s secretary Jane Kachali has announced.
“The aim of the bonanza is to boost and promote netball standards in the region hence the event is open to all teams in the region,” she said.
“The other aim is to scout for potential talent for both regional and national engagements,” she said.
She said the registration fee is K1,500 per team.
“The region has potential players but the game here lacks sponsorship to improve,” she explained.
She added that the committee intends to host another bonanza in Kawalazi, Nkhata Bay District at a date and venue yet to be announced. This will be followed by another in Mzimba, the largest district in the country. |
