Reproductive healthcare NGO Banja La Mtsogolo (BLM) has released on the market a new brand of imported studded and chocolate-flavoured condoms called Manyuchi, selling at K20 per pack of three.
BLM marketing and public affairs manager Andrew Chikopa said in a statement the features of Manyuchi, studs and flavour, make them unique from other condoms on the market.
Manyuchi is the vernacular Chichewa name for honey.
Chikopa said the Manyuchi condoms will not only assure people of protection but also extra sexual pleasure and protect them from sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies when correctly used.
“In addition to providing protection as mentioned, Manyuchi condoms are studded to heighten the intensity of sexual pleasure when people are using condoms,” said Chikopa.
He said those people who desisted from using condoms on account that they reduce sexual pleasure have reason to smile as the Manyuchi condoms will not only offer protection but are studded for extra protection.
Manyuchi condoms will be available in all BLM clinics nationwide, shops and groceries, fuel service stations, bars and bottle stores, accodring to Chikopa.
BLM was established in 1987 with an objective of improving the reproductive health of women, men and adolescents in rural and urban areas of the country.
