BB all the way
Last week I congratulated Dr Bakili Bullets football club for defeating SC Villa during the Caf Champions League first round first leg match at Chichiri Stadium. I will not get tired congratulating the Bullets who once again honoured last week’s prediction by dressing down Silver Strikers.
Next week I will also be congratulating them for seeing off Villa in the Caf Champions League after pulling a draw in Kampala. I hope this time their sponsor, Atcheya, will not leave me out when dishing out more K50 000s to the boys.
After my last week’s complaint that Atcheya was wrong to leave me out, a lot of people have been asking whether I was finally considered. I am sorry to tell you that kuli zii mpaka lero. But I am sure Anamva, let’s still wait.
On Sunday’s game, I know some people have doubts on the Bullets’ chances of sailing through. Do you think Atcheya can send supporters to cheer his team losing in Uganda? By the way, Madala could have added the naughty boys who sing UDF chipani changa and a few lyo-lyo-lyo shouting women on the travelling list.
Of course, with the launch of the UDF manifesto here in Lilongwe, guys like Wampala, Bulldozer and Change Golo would not let Lucious Banda accompany BB. Who would sing the UDF national anthem: Ndiyendaaaaa ndi Atcheya waliwali?
Something on my team Manchester United: In 1999/2000, our manager, Alex Ferguson, was decorated with the title of ‘Sir’ after winning a treble- The FA Cup, Premiership title and the Champions League.
This time we have lost the premiership, missed the Champions League and we are about to be knocked out of the FA cup. Why still keep the ‘Sir’ title on our manager? |
