| North selects 3 for Nam AGM |

Northern Region Netball Committee has selected three candidates to contest at the Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) general elections set for Saturday in Blantyre.
The selection was made at a meeting held at Regional Sports Development Offices (North).
Annie Sichinga, District Education Manager will contest the seat of vice president, Jane Kachali, Regional Netball Committee member/umpire the vice secretary post while Regional Netball Committee Chairperson, Jean Chalemba will vie for the seat of treasurer general.
Meanwhile, the Regional Netball Committee has written a letter of protest to Nam asking why these elections are only held in Blantyre when they are supposed to be rotated in the country’s three major cities.
* In a separate development Cricket Union of Malawi (Cum) North will on Saturday hold a refresher coaching course for teacher coaches at Katoto Secondary School ground from 9AM according to Cum vice chairman Ellasco Chitatata.
The course will be conducted by coach/player Khan Shahab, he said.
The course is a follow-up to the one held in the city by national coach Abdul Rehman a few months ago.
All coaches should bring their training equipment.
