3rd term for Malawi
I will start by putting my hats off for the Flames for scorching the overconfident Zambians to reach the final of the Cosafa Castle Cup.
With the 4-1 and 5-1 defeats the Flames suffered at the hands of Nigeria and Angola, very few people gave them a chance against the Mighty Zambia. But this column knew the Zambians would be trimmed to size and predicted victory for the Flames.
No wonder coach Patrick Phiri has lost his job and his team dissolved.
Having dealt with the Zambians, we are now waiting for either Zimbabwe or Swaziland and I have already told comrade Mugabe here that his boys should not dare reach the final— They will end up in Flames.
Well, let me not talk much about the Castle Cup because I am right in the middle of a Coca Cola party here in Harare where national school teams from Malawi, Zambia and the host country are battling for the Coca Cola regional trophy.
Malawi are current holders of the trophy and my main reason for coming here is just to see the Malawi schools team get the trophy for a third successive year.
For the K30.7m BP Top 8 competition, which is starting there in Malawi, I will only join the race next week when the blood pressure (BP) will have risen higher.
