Another adventure! Travel club Bon Voyage has organised yet another tour to Liwonde National Park and Mangochi next weekend.
Club chair George Malikebu told Nation Online the tour, which will start on Friday, August 29 until Sunday, August 31 will first take travel lovers from Blantyre and Lilongwe to Liwonde.
“We will have a braai Friday night right in the national park and the next day we will go game viewing,” said Malikebu.
He said Liwonde offers a good view of such game as elephants, hippos, buffaloes, rhinos and a wide range of antelope.
This is the second time within eight months that Bon Voyage has organised a trip to Liwonde National Park. The last trip was last December when travellers had two mornings of game viewing and also went to Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi.
From the national park, people on the tour will proceed to Mangochi at Sun ‘n’ Sand Holiday Resort where they will spend Saturday night and have another braai.
“They will also enjoy games like beach volleyball and netball,” said Malikebu.
Bon Voyage publicity secretary Chimwemwe Nyirenda said they would have loved if more people from Lilongwe were on the trip.
“The bus will come from Lilongwe so it could have been good for some people to come from there,” said Nyirenda.
The three-day tour costs K2,000 which is inclusive of accommodation, food and transport. Those interested to go can contact the following: Malikebu (265) 9 510 858 and Nyirenda (265) 8 839 739.
