Malewezi goes to economic meeting

First Vice president, Justin Malewezi on Sunday left for Durban, South Africa to an African Economic Forum.
Speaking to reporters on departure at Lilongwe International Airport, Malewezi said the Forum will among other things, discuss what can be done to steer economic growth on the continent.
He said delegates at the Forum will also discuss ways to help boost the economy of the continent in the context of the New Africa’s Partnership for Economic Development (Nepad), an initiative for spearheading economic development among African countries.
Before the African Economic Forum, the First Vice President, said he will also attend a two day HIV/AIDS conference which has been organised by the University of Havard in the United States of America.
He said he has been invited to address the conference on the HIV/Aids situation in the country.
