Household furnishing dealers Supreme Furnishers on Friday gave their customers in the Northern Region a rare treat when they presented certificates of recognition to the best customers at its Mzuzu shop.
Regional manager for southern Africa, Malawi chapter, Elvis Bauleni said the occasion was held to honour customers who have been loyal in settling their accounts.
“We thought it is time we did something for our customers who have been very supportive since we came onto the market in the country. We also thought that it would be better if we invited our customers so that we can interact and share happy moments together. We respect our customers for we know they make us exist,” said Bauleni.
He said the honoured customers came from all the districts in the region.
Apart from the certificate presentation ceremony which was branded ‘recognising Very Important People’ (VIP), there were a number of other exciting activities and competitions.
The function was spiced with a Coca-Cola drinking competition whose winner went home with a wristwatch worth K18,000.
Others won several other precious items in other competitions such as ‘the best-dressed person’. In addition, prices for all items were reduced.
Mzuzu Supreme branch Manager Cilla Mussa hailed Northern Region customers for honouring their accounts on time.
Said Mussa: “We are proud of our customers, they are good and they honour their accounts as per agreement. We hope to attract more people with our services in the North. It is good our customers here believe that our quality is best and that our prices beat the rest.”
