Just in time. Flames coach Steve Constantine has won cash and material support for the Flames ahead of their camp training in preparation for the Cosafa Castle Cup Group B mini tournament later this month.
The materials include toiletries from Colgate-Palmolive, beddings and carpets from Bombay Bazaar and mosquito nets and K100,000 cash from AE Chemicals.
“When you want sponsorship, you got to hunt for it. I have been here for three months now and I have been going round looking for support.
“Colgate-Palmolive will provide us with the toiletries for the entire national team every time they will be in camp. There is also another businessman who has pledged to buy us training kits in Sri-Lanka,” said Constantine.
That is not all, the Flames coach also said another company from England has pledged to donate 300 soccer balls.
“Fifa has also pledged to send us some balls. So if we want something, let’s go hunt for it,” said Constantine.
The Flames are expected to go into camp this Sunday in preparation for the mini tournament to be held in Swaziland from May 26 to 27 |
